A few months ago, we were approached by WPIXto be a part of their ultimate wedding contest "The New York City Magical Wedding" to bake the cake for one lucky couple. The 5 month long contest will have audiences choosing a deserving couple and voting on their favorite wedding accessories (like the CAKE!).
For now, they're kicking off the contest with a Launch Party that will be held on Wednesday, July 7th from 7am to 9am at The New York Helmsley Hotel to air on the PIX11 Morning News. Brides and engaged couples can RSVP now for the party and a chance to win a ton of awesome prizes from the sponsors. Pastry Girl Cakes will be there giving out samples of our yummy cakes!
We'll be updating the blog regularly during the promotion to give you a behind the scenes look at the launch party, sneak peeks at the cakes we will be creating for the lucky couple and recaps of WPIX Morning Show's new weekly feature "Wedding Wednesdays," which will air during the 8am hour.
