Inside the Launch Party!

This morning, we woke up REALLY early and headed over to The New York Helmsley Hotel for the Launch Party of WPIX The NYC Magical Wedding. The Knickbocker suite was beautifully decorated with tables from all of the participating vendors. David Tutera did a great job hosting the event and graciously signed copies of his book and posed for photos.

We made mini cupcakes for the brides and grooms to sample. Flavors included vanilla cake with lemon buttercream and a raspberry drizzle, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, rich chocolate cake with chocolate mousse buttercream and our popular red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. Tamsen Fadal reported on the event and did an amazing job. Tamsen was super sweet and it was so exciting getting to watch her live. And she's even more beautiful in person!

Throughout the morning prizes from vendors were raffled and one very excited couple won a groom's cake from us!

WeddingWire Vintage Inspiration Board

Vintage wedding themes are all the rage right now and brides are incorporating old Hollywood glamour into their dresses, makeup and even their cake. WeddingWire blog recently used our Anemone Cake in one of their vintage inspiration boards.

We get a lot of requests for this cake as well as variations of it. I love it because it’s a simple design that works with a lot of different themes.
